Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use ImgurUpload (the "Service").

1. Your images

Images you upload are relayed through our server to ImgBB and are held in memory only for the duration of the request. We do not write them to disk, we do not keep a copy, and we do not build an archive of anything you upload. Once the request finishes, the file is gone from our infrastructure.

Once a file reaches ImgBB it is governed by ImgBB's own terms and privacy policy. We cannot retrieve, modify or delete images from ImgBB on your behalf. Every upload response includes a delete link, which you should keep if you may want to remove the image later.

2. Data we do collect

  • Server logs: IP address, request time, requested path and user agent. These are standard web server logs used for security and abuse prevention, and are retained for a short period.
  • Rate-limit counters: our server keeps an in-memory count of uploads per IP address for one hour, purely to stop abuse. These counters are not stored permanently.

3. Cookies and analytics

We do not set our own tracking cookies. If analytics or advertising scripts are enabled on this site (for example Google Analytics or Google AdSense), those third parties may set cookies or read device identifiers in accordance with their own policies. You can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker without affecting the uploader.

4. Third parties

Your images are transmitted to ImgBB (imgbb.com/privacy) for storage and delivery. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone else.

5. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

6. Your rights

Because we do not maintain user accounts and hold no copies of your files, there is usually nothing about you for us to export or erase beyond short-lived server logs. If you have a request, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
